— SEASONAL STRUCTURE —
16 Teams playing Swiss bracket.
To advance to Playoffs a team has to win 3 matches. To be eliminated a team has to lose 3 matches. All seeding games are BO1. All Promotion and Elimination games are BO3.
Playoff bracket consists of 8 teams playing a single elimination bracket for 1 week. All Playoff matches are a BO3 match.
The BO5 Grand Finals will determine the team that wins SCS7.

Each team is guaranteed to play at least 5 BO1 matches during step 1. (FF wins are considered a match)
If a team loses 5 matches, they are unable to advance to step 2.

Top 16 teams from STEP 1 will advance to the STEP 2 held on the third day of the respective Open Qualifier series.
